About the Course

This six-week course meets live on Zoom every Tuesday from July 22 to August 26, 7:00–9:00 PM EST. Each session will feature dynamic, easy-to-follow teaching that breaks down how to read each book of the Bible in its historical, cultural, linguistic, and literary context. You'll receive downloadable notes, practical study tools, and step-by-step methods you can immediately apply to your own Bible reading. There will be plenty of time for interactive Q&A, so you can get your questions answered in real time. And if you ever miss a session, recordings will be available so you can catch up at your own pace. This is more than a Bible study—it's a hands-on training experience to help you read Scripture with clarity and confidence.

Meet Your Instructor

Elder Kevin Betton Jr. is an active-duty U.S. Army Chaplain with 23 years of military service and over two decades of preaching and teaching experience. He has taught more than 30 Bible and theology classes and trained over 500 students online. Chaplain Betton holds a Master of Divinity from Liberty University and will begin his Ph.D. in Biblical Exposition this fall. He has a passion for discipleship and urban apologetics!
